Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how PDF SuperApp (“PDF SuperApp”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application “PDF SuperApp: Scanner Editor” (the “App”) on iOS and Android, and our marketing website at https://www.pdfsuperapp.com (the “Site”).
We designed PDF SuperApp to do as much as possible on your device. The documents you scan, read, edit, and annotate stay on your device by default and are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Your PDF files and scans. Documents you import, scan, edit, or annotate remain on your device. We do not upload, copy, read, or store the contents of your documents on our servers.
- Account information. The App does not require an account to use its core scanning, viewing, editing, or annotating features.
- Contacts, photos library (beyond what you import), call logs, SMS, or location.
Information We Process
To provide the App and keep it working reliably, we process:
- Purchase information. When you purchase a PDF SuperApp Pro subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Billing). We receive an anonymous purchase receipt via our subscription provider, RevenueCat, Inc., so we can confirm your Pro status. We do not receive your full name, email, billing address, or payment-card number from the store.
- Anonymous device identifiers. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous App User ID to each install so subscription state can be restored if you reinstall the App or switch devices using the same Apple ID / Google account.
- Crash and diagnostic data. If the App crashes, the operating system may send Apple or Google a crash report containing no personal data; you can disable this in your device settings. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising SDK.
- Waitlist signups (Site only). If you submit the waitlist form on our Site, your name (optional), email address, chosen platform, and any message you provide are sent by email to aarizrasheed2345@gmail.com through FormSubmit. We use this only to notify you when the App launches.
Permissions the App May Request
- Camera — required only when you scan a document. Used in real time on your device to capture the page.
- Photo Library — required only when you import an image to convert to PDF. We access only the items you pick.
- Files / Storage — required to save and open PDFs on your device.
- Notifications (optional) — used only to inform you about local export progress or trial reminders.
You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device Settings.
How Subscriptions Work
The App offers an auto-renewable subscription, PDF SuperApp Pro, which unlocks advanced features. Purchases, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your full payment details. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your device:
- iOS: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions.
- Android:Google Play app → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Third-Party Service Providers
The following providers process limited data on our behalf:
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, App Store payments, and Apple Server-to-Server purchase notifications.
- Google LLC — Google Play distribution, Play Billing payments, and Real-Time Developer Notifications.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — Subscription receipt validation and Pro-status synchronization across devices. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- FormSubmit (Devro LABS). Forwards waitlist / support form submissions from our Site to our email inbox. See FormSubmit’s Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
On-device document data persists only on your device and can be deleted at any time by removing the document inside the App or by uninstalling the App. Anonymous subscription receipts retained by RevenueCat are kept for as long as the subscription is active and for the period required by Apple and Google for transaction support. Waitlist signup emails are kept in our inbox until you ask us to delete them.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because we hold so little personal information, most rights can be exercised by uninstalling the App and emailing us to delete any waitlist record we hold. To make a request, email aarizrasheed2345@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, notify you in-app or by email.
